FSU Football After The Portal: Examining 5 Blue-Chip Targets For #Tribe24 🍢
The comittment of Keon Coleman has likely wrapped up Norvell and staff's plundering of the transfer portal. Let's take a look at the too blue-chip players that FSU hopes to add to #Tribe24! SCOOP!
Jonathen Daniels | 5☆ OT
Pine Forest High School in Pensacola Florida
Twitter | @CentralNorvell
Jonathen is a 6’4” 275 lb offensive line prospect that just screams tackle at you. These are the kind of young men that you just can’t get out if the portal. Fortunately for Mike Norvell he identified and offered this talent before the rest of the P5 teams came along as a 3☆ prospect. I’m currently living in the Pensacola area so I plan on visiting Pine Forest quite a bit this year and you will never lack information of his progress.
ON3 is the only recruiting service I will give you as the rest are an afront and abomination in the face of the amazing talent that Daniels represents. He sits as their #11 player overall, the #1 offensive tackle and the #3 player in the state with a number grade of 98.
KJ Bolden | 5☆ Safety
Buford Highschool In Buford, GA
Twitter | @KhalilBolden2
KJ stands at 6’1” 185lbs and projects to being a true game changer at safety. 247’s composite rates him their #1 safety in the nation and the #9 player overall in the 2024 class. He is also the #2 player in all of GA, a Top 5 state in terms of elite CFB talent. Florida, California, and Texas are the big three with Louissiana and Georgia being similar in my opinion. At this point FSU’s entire class is made up of half FL and half GA.
ON3 reveres Bolden the most giving him a grade of 98.49, labeling him the the #1 Safety and top GA player. He lands at #5, near the top of their entire board for 2024. According to their RPM UGA leads with a 28.7% chance of signing him followed by Bama, OSU, and Clemson. This is where following the Renegade Report gets you some insight.
It’s my opinion along with multiple sources including our good friend @CmoreStacks that family will be a big part of his decision and is extremely important to him. Cmore was the first to report that KJ Bolden has legitmate family connections to FSU & Tribe24. He told us that current S commit CJ Heard just so happens to be extremely good friends with KJ as well as their mothers being besties. They grew up playing little league ball together in the Atlanta area and were on the same team called the Atlanta Dragons.
Florida State has established a great connection with the young man and his camp. I fully expect him to be a Nole regardless what the national media may believe and I could go on for several more paragraphs in the different ways in which Norvell and Fuller have become so tight with him but that stuff is between them and we will let them decide when to speak on it, but one thing everybody knows and can see plainly is a particular photoshoot he did back in April.

Joshisa Trader | 5☆ WR
Chaminade-Madonna Prep in Hollywood, FL
Mr. Trader stands at 6’ 1” and weighs around 175 lbs. Nothing there particularly stands out but when you turn on the tape it is obvious. He is the type of WR coaches like Ryan Day and Lincoln Riley pine for. He comes in at #16 overall in 247’s composite as the #1 ATH in the nation and #5 overa player.p There is a spot for a fifth receiver in Tribe24 but it will have to be someone like Joshisa if it’s to be filled.
He has long been considered a Miami lock or at least very heavy lean with a RPM (ON3) percentage at 92.3% and a Crystal Ball from Steve Wiltfong in their favor as well. I’m here to tell you all now that I am not convinced and the recent addition of Keon Coleman could prove to be a big-time motivator for him should he have the amount of success he is capable of.
I don’t have any crazy inside scoop or anything except to say that I can promise you it’s not the slam dunk Miami thinks it is. This recruitment reminds me a ton of Landen Thomas and the attitude of coverage surrounding it. Florida State is establishing a pipeline to Chaminade and if you’ve heard me Cmore, or Chris Frazier of Spearatics Media say it one time you’ve heard it a hundred times, FOLLOW THE VISITS! He had a blast back on the weekend of March 4th; he will be back and we will be here to cover it.
Charles Lester | 5☆ Corner
Riverview High School in Sarasota, FL
Charles is 6’2” & 171 lbs of pure corner. He is rated the #2 Corner and 15th Player Overall in 247’s Composite bringing in a rating of 99.07. This makes him the 4th Ranked player in the state of Florida which is universally known as the most fertile recruiting land in the nation. He has received three crystal balls from the likes of Steve Wiltfong, Chris Nee and Brendan Sonnone.
ON3 is just as high on Lester and has also predicted him to land at Florida State using their RPM (recruit prediction machine) at 91.17%. They give him the same positional and state rating but he lands at #13 on their overall board. They assigned his rating as 97.42 out of 100.
Florida State has long been known as DBU and has a long history of putting defensive backs into the NFL. Not only that but we put guys into the league that are prepared to compete and stay there for a long time. This 2023 recruiting class is going to be a statement to the CFB world and Charles Lester will be a Seminole when it is all said and done.

I’m putting it on wax today. I officially predict Charles Lester’s comittment with our signature Crsytal Trophy. If you have been with us from the jump you know these are not given out lightly but then again neither are those all white uniforms.
Kylan Fox | 4☆ TE
Grayson High School in Loganville, GA
Twitter | @ZBlostein247
Kylan stands 6’ 4” and weighs close to 215 lbs heading into his senior year. He is the lowest rated recruit on this list but still a big-time playmaker that would be an important addition alongside 5☆ TE Landen Thomas. He is rated the #9 ATH by 247 as well as the 129th player overall and the 21st ranked player in GA. He recently earned a 60% confindence prediction from ON3’s RPM though no crystal balls have been entered just yet.
Twitrer | @ON3Recruits
He was on-campus just last weekend for an unofficial visit and by all accounts it was a success for Norvell and staff. Rumors whirled around the timeline speculating a possible surprise comittment before he even left town, and there may have been some smoke there who knows 🤷♂️.
That said it was not to be and he did give us an announcement promising to wait until July 4th to announce his decision. All signs on my end are currently pointing him towards Tallahassee and just look at the last three TE comittments FSU has gotten. I believe the momentum continues and the play on the field of Jaheim Bell, Markeston Douglas and Kyle Morlock will ony soldify Thomas and Fox should he do the right thing come July 4th. I’m ready to put in my own crystal trophy here!
I’ve consistently told you all not to listen to anything trolls and naysayers say about Norvell’s recruiting when it comes to the 2024 class. I have said it will likely be in the #s 5-10 range. At this current moment I’m gonna tell you if the Noles handle their business on the field it will find itself inside that top five.
In case you missed it here is the FULL Offensive Spring Camp Breakdown. Just imagine what the addition of Keon Coleman will mean after hearing how high I was on them before he comitted.
