Given the level of talent he inherited and then recieved behind others recruiting ties, his units woefully underperformed as a group. High-school recruiting has been an issue. Who will Norvell hire?

Arkansas softens the blow
Marcus Woodson by all accounts is a great man. He love’s the team like his own family and has been a rock for them durring his tenure. The play on the field and the recruiting results just weren’t good enough to justify bringing him back for a fourth and mkst crucial year for the Florida State Football Team.
Interim Coach and Replacement Candidates
This is the main thing we all want to find out. I’ve pondered the possibilities long before this news broke. Florida State is a venerable pandoras box of defensive back recruiting when wielded by right person. People don’t call it #DBU for any frivilous reasons, if you ball out at FSU your going to the league and everyone will know who you are. All-Pros, Pro Bowlers, and Hall of Famers filling the record books with THE logo!
I do not believe Mike Norvell will hire in house. Look for a splash hire and a big time recruiter.
