FSU Football Lands UCF OL Starter Adrian Medley! #Trenches
The most important spot on the field is being aggressively attacked by the staff and Herb Hand has a good one in Medley!
Adrien Medley is a 6’5” 305 pound offensive guard out of Pensacola, Florida and started all twelve games for Herb Hand at UCF last year. Medley likely will become the best interior lineman on FSU’s roster the moment he steps on campus. Proven production will be a common theme for offensive line transfers coming off of the disaster that was the 2024 season.
According to Pro Football Focus, Medley had a 69.1 overall grade for the 2024 season. His run blocking grade was passable at 66.9, but his pass blocking grade was especially solid. Medley graded out at 73.3 as a pass blocker this season, which is welcome news for the Florida State offense.
Florida State’s objective this off-season is to find as many playable bodies for the offensive line next season. Offensive line is one of the most physically demanding spots in football and it is not uncommon to see guys playing through injuries.
I believe Medley can come in the offensive line room and be a stabilizing force for the room. He is a super senior and his presence will be like having a professional in the program who knows what Gus and Herb want to do. Stay tuned there will be plenty more to come!
