FSU Football: Official Visit, Arrivals, Tweets, News, and Commits!
Finally the December 9th-11th Official Visit weekend is here. Take a peak behind the curtain with us here at Renegade Report Updated 10 PM Eastern
UTEP OL Jeremiah Byers
Offensive tackle is far and away the most difficult position to acquire across all levels of football. The 6-4, 300+ pound giant wingspan, and bigtime first step are just an extremely rare set of traits for one individiual to hold. Jeremiah is believed by head ball coaches across the country to have these traits in spades. He would be a giant signing for Coach Alex Atkins and the 2023 FSU OL. Here he is on campus right now!
LB Kamren Robinson
The Battle’s End announcing the return of both Senior linebackers in Adam Fuller’s 4-2-5 is giant news for the 2023 season. They will both be headed to the NFL following this season most likely. That makes linebacker a position of need this cycle and adding Kamren Robinson in with Blake Nicholson would be huge for the Noles and a possible replacement duo. He is at the Moore Center as you read this! Watch him arrive thanks to Curt Weiler from Tomahawk Nation fame, the place where I discovered my love for sports blogging, and currently aþ Rivals / Osceola contributer.
Shorter TE Kyle Morlock
I have been a giant fan of Morlock’s since the first day he hit the portal. That said he is a pretty quiet kid. Rumors are his family is full of Gators and they have been in heavy contact. To my knowledge the Gators simply don’t have room for him right now, but if they were to offer he would be a Gator. We will see if Norvell can sell him on being a Nole during this massive recruiting weekend. Man looks like he is ready to commit to me. Here he is arriving to meet the coaches in Tallahassee
Curt Weiler of the Osceola catches Morlock arriving Friday.
UCF DB Davonte Brown &
Davonte appears to have played three full seasons for UCF and came out as a three-star out of Plantation, Florida. PFF grade him out around and 84 this past season at Central Florida and he has played around two thousand snaps in his college career. Davonte is class of 2023 American Heritage four-star cornerback Damari Brown. In a perfect world the Noles could grab the pair but they are not necessarily a packaged deal.
Damari Brown (unofficial?)
Davante Arrives
Package Deal?
Four-Star DL Reuben Bain Jr.
Reuben Bain Jr. has been and still is considered a Miami lock. I’d say that percentage has fallen from 99% to 80% opening the door for the Norvell to give it a shot. People don’t even like ne mentioning he’s on campus but there he is live in color! This would be a death blow to Miami’s recruiting effort and the biggest deal for in-state recruiting since Jimbo flipped Dalvin Cook from UF. “HE’S BACK HE’S BACK, OH YEAH”
Haven’t convinced him yet but Miami can’t like these tweets
Edwin Joseph State Champ Athlete
This has been one of those Florida athlete recruitments where despite his three star rating he is a priority of several in-state staffs. The Noles appear to be trending in a positive direction with the Chaminade-Prep, Hollywood, FL athlete.
The Kids LOVE the all whites
Conrad Hussey S Penn State Commit
This one totally caught me off guard. Mike Norvell is all about relationships which makes it pretty clear when a player is feeling FSU and Norvell. This tyoe kf situation is pretty rare but as the Nole’s continue improving on the field that off the field perception will keep on comin’.
Who cares what I think though maybe Norvell has him in the bag, December 21st-31st will be his chance to sign for a team
National Champion Nole TE Nick O’ Leary and his random grandparents
Jaheim Bell USCe TE
I feel extremely strong on this one and the Noles very well could secure his commitment. He is the opposite of the Shorter university TE. He is more of an H-back guy who would likely see a role similar to Wyatt Rector’s except much more. There has been mutual interest between Bell and FSU dating back to his high school recruitment. Things are heating up fast and with Tennessee and Oklahoma both somewhat relenting to sign lesser tight end prospects in my opinion the Noles are poised to strike! Just waiting on his arrival to bring you guys some fresh media but he either snuck in the back door or just hasnt made it yet.
Here he is the first time around when Willie Taggart was still here. Check back as this will be December 9th - 11th visits hub.
Casey Roddick OL Colorado
He is currently in Tallahasse as I reported back on Monday morning. I believe he is actually in the class for all intents and purposes just hasn’t publicly committed ir signed. I don’t see him being a public part of the Visit festivities bit the staff may be holding his commitment to pop it this eveming or one of the other two nights.
