( Tell Them Renegade Report sent you)
Lawrance Toafili* Tailback
The veteran RB has held down the Tailback position on he depth chart the past two years and his game has rally taken strides especially in the wildcat & two back formations.
Shyheim Brown* Safety
Shyheim was one The Renegade Report's predictions to break out in 2023 season and he did not disappoint as the Noles had a top three passing defense in his first year as a starter at safety.
Destyn Hill Slot WR
Folks really began to doubt if the Class of 2021 wide receiver would find his way to Tallahassee but he did in fact make it in for the 2023 season. I expect a breakout season for him in 2024 with his new quarterback.
Darius Washington* OL
A Washington HS product out of Pensacola, FL Darius Washington has made his bones as a swing lineman but made a large jump in play 2023 earnings ALL ACC Honors for his play
Pat Payton* DE
Patrick Payton locks it down despite a short period of flirtation with portal possibilities. As he enters year four look for the Red-shirt Junior to breakout and receive major draft buzz.
Maurice Smith * Center
The Seminoles starting center may have battled through more adversity than anyone in hi time with Florida State. The staff has brought in guys in multiple years to compete and he keeps coming out on top so my money is on him taking another step in 2024.
Robert Scott* OT
Similar to MO, Rob was forced into action immediately upon arriving at Florida State. He has been her with Mike Norvell since 2020 and battled some undisclosed (serious) injuries this past year. Expect a major bounce back for our most consistent lineman.
Keiondre Jones IOL
Keiondre came to FSU from Auburn and steadily earned more and more reps in 2023. Needs work in pass protection but if he gets his hands on you he is MASHing you.
Byron Turner Jr. DE
I’m expecting a breakout year for Byron Turner Jr. Can he follow the same path as his teammate Patrick Payton and take his play to the next level in 2024?
Ryan Fitzgerald* K
After a disastrous attempt to change his kicking form in 2022 Fitzgerald bounced back with an excellent 2023 three season to the point he should be on the preseason Lou Groza award watchlists.
Alex Mastramano*
Alex Mastramano has gotten better and better with every week, year he has been in Tallahassee. I'm expecting him to be a weapon on special teams in 2024.
Caziah Holmes RB
Caziah was a top 4☆ RB recruit coming out of High School but suffered a major injury setback. In his 2nd year with the team he really started to show promise and gain reps in a talented backfield. I think he could be the best back on the roster
Darion Williamson WR
Darion was a bit of a disappointment in 2023 following a stellar spring and fall camp he just wasn't ready for he moment when his number was called. Let's see if he can find some rythmn with DJU
Jermaine Byers* OL
Byers was a big pickup our of UTEP in last years haul. Though his play at tackle drew some criticism I believe he will be significantly better in years two with Alex Atkins
Kentron Portier WR
I'm pulling for KP but he simply has to be able to stay healthy. If he can do that he will be 500+ yards 5TD guy in a loaded WR room for 2024
Azaryeh Thomas** CB
Boom, AZ is back for his junior year and sporting a shiny new number. A number that has gone to some of the best corners in FSU this century. As he pays Homage to those great expect a breakout, lockdown campaign for him in 2024
Omar Graham Jr LB
Big year for Omar Graham with Deloach and Bethune gone he has an opportunity to capitalize and take his spot in the LB rotation. We saw flashes last year let's see if he can gain that consistency.
KJ Sampson DT
A lot of good words coming out about KJ and his potential on the interior of he defensive line. I will be keeping a close eye on his play in spring.
Quindarrius Jones CB
This one was a bit of a surprise last year as the staff really trusted him pretty early on similar onwhat we saw with AZ as a freshman. Curious to see I he can become another #DBU lockdown corner.
Ja’Bril Rawls DB
Pensacola DB was one of my favorites in the 23 recruiting class and spring will be a proving ground for him & others.
Fentrell Cypress III CB
Fentrell Cypress was ALL ACC first team at UVA so some see his season as a disappointment. On contrary I thought he was excellent. I expect a Jarrian Jones like rise from him this year and redemption over casual takes.
Marvin Jones Jr. DE
This is the one we have all been waiting for. This has Jermaine Johnson energy written all over it. A tweener in UGAs 3-4 defense MJJ will be asked to get after the passer in Adam Fullers 4-2-5. He will get home a lot.
Daniel Lyons
Lyons has shown growth year in and year out similar to Joshua Farmer. I expect the same in 2024 and a very nice piece at tackle returns.
Charles Lester DB
Lester wasted no time getting locked in with the best NIL collective in the game. He is not your ordinary freshman and will likely make a decent impact on the 2024 season.
Landen Thomas TE
The #1 TE in the Nation (to hell with what the services say) is locked in and ready to play ball for the Seminoles. I can't remember a talent like this at TE since old school Nick O’ Leary.
Vandrevious Jacobs WR
Dre was far and away the most polished WR that showed up from the high school ranks in 2023 and didn't appear to be overwhelmed by the speed or athleticism of the game. He has the potential to be a game breaker in 2024 and moving forward.
Tomiwa DuroJaiye
Another member of the FSU all names team Tomiwa is a big end and has a higher ceiling than a lot of ends. Look for him and Toko to do a better job setting that edge in the run game Tha. the 2023 ends while no one will likely reach the singular level of a Jared Verse the groups overall talent has increased significantly significantly!
Joshua Farmer
When you see a Defensive Tackle in a single digit number you know they mean business. Joshua has taken major leaps forward every single off-season and with this being his “money” year and the talent surrounding him he should be an ALL ACC level player. BIGTIME get for Ingram and TBE as rumors swirled around his status at one point in time.
Terrence Ferguson.
Ferguson was a back-up on the Bama team is a bigtime addition to the OL room as the interior line has become a bit of an embarrassment of riches.
Cai Bates
#Tribe24 DB/ATH chose the Noles over LSU and has a chance to be a player.
Ashlynd Barker
I must admit I was a but surprised with his play in 2022. I honestly saw a guy that was used for depth and could possibly end up back in the portal. Boy did he prove me wrong providing quality snaps all year. He could have a very interesting year.
Jakhi Douglas
Megamind has decided to return for his final year of eligibility and his impact can't be understated. His football IQ and Clutch factors are through the rood and he finished off 2023 like a true champion. Welcom back Jakhi!
Kam Davis
What can you say about Kam? He is a grown man over 200 pounds of athletic ability that reminds us of Cam Akers coming out of High School. Look for him to get more burn as a freshman than we have seen in quite some time.
Jaylin Lucas
Coming in from Indiana the All American return man will be a huge piece for the Noles special teams and a Swiss army knife similar to his brother Jakhi Douglas.
Darrell Jackson**
What the NCAA did making an example out of Darrell was absolutely shameful. I expect him to take it out on interior lineman all 2024 and then get picked in the first 3 rounds of the 2025 NFL draft.
