FSU Football: Class of 2024 DT Keishawn Mashburn Decommits
Florida State Football commit and Robert F. Munroe Day School DT Keishawn Mashburn has decided to pursue other options as the Seminoles' recruiting is scorching hot.
What Now?
This decommitment doesn’t change much at all and he was more of a projection than a slam dunk pick and thenlowest rankded of all the non-kickers currently committed. I really enjoyed speaking with Keishawn and have no doubts someone will be getting a great young man to join their program. One with a high ceiling but a relatively low floor. I have not recieved word back from Keishawn since his decommitment but I imagine he hasn’t felt much like a priority as of late.
#1108 in the 247 Composite
#140 In FL
#101 DL
At the time of his commitment Mike Norvell’s staff was not operating anywhere near their current level on the national stage and reliant upon early evaluations. Finding diamonds in the rough before anyone else and building these relationships to last. They were succesful as we have seen with guys like Luke Kromenhoek flying to the top of the QB rankings. This is no longer the case as the Noles can go after whoever they want and have a fighting shot at this point.
Renegade Report will keep you up to date as #Tribe24 continues to evolve as we are 10-11 months away from these young men signing. I have a feeling the next DT to commit will be very exciting so stay tuned…
