Florida State got some great news today as former LSU wide receiver Jalen Brown elected to transfer to the Seminoles for the 2024 season. This is a big win for Coach Mike Norvell and his staff. The coaching staff liked him a lot out of high school and was competing for his signature to the very end. LSU ended up winning his signature for the 2023 season, but after an uneventful freshman campaign he decided to transfer.

The moment his name appeared in the transfer portal, I knew the coaching staff would reach out. Vertical routes are a staple of the Mike Norvell offense, and Jalen Brown is the perfect fit. He has world-class speed and is a major threat to take the top off a defense at any given moment. He is more than just his speed though. He has good hands and works hard to get better at the intricacies of route running.

This is just the beginning of what I expect will be a very fruitful day for FSU.
