Roydell Williams Commits to the #Climb
Former Alabama running back commits to the Seminoles and bolsters yet another elite transfer portal crop.
Alabama has been good to Florida State recently and that good fortune continues with the commitment of Roydell Williams to transfer for his final year of eligibility. The former Alabama running back was a productive player for the Tide despite playing in an absolutely stacked rotation.
Williams ran for over 500 yards on 111 carries last season for the Tide and scored 5 touchdowns on the ground. He also added 11 receptions for 58 yards and a score receiving.
Mike Norvell loves his running backs, and Williams will no doubt get his touches in the FSU offense. Williams is good enough to start for a lot of college football programs. He had PFF grades of 74.2 and 72.9 despite competing for reps. This is a good pickup for Coach Norvell and his staff, and will make the running back room stronger overall.
